AIM: Raise A Tree's aim is to increase awareness and promote understanding of the issues relating to Trees, The Environment and Climate Change in a fun, interactive and challenging way.
Raise A Tree was founded by Andy Stephenson and Luke Berry in January 2007.
The idea of creating a website to help educate pupils about climate change and global warming came out of the increased awareness and media coverage of potentially of the biggest issues facing the leaders of tomorrow.
Andy Stephenson, co-founder of Raise A Tree previously ran Pink Link Design Ltd, his own successful web design and accessibility consultancy, specialising in small-medium business clients. His passion for the internet is matched only by his love for working with people and creating extraordinary results for his clients.
Instead of simply fulfilling briefs for clients, Andy always went the extra mile to ensure that a website was effective in helping to improve a client’s business instead of just looking pretty!
Luke Berry helped co-found Raise A Tree whilst simultaneously working at a construction company as a trainee quantity surveyor. His expert knowledge in estimating has proved invaluable with Raise A Tree and combined with his planning has meant that the development of the Raise A Tree website has not only stayed on track but also on budget.
Luke has previous experience of working closely with people at all levels and following projects from initial conception to conclusion with great levels of success.
